Paul is more lucid, his tone more realistic, than any other candidate. Certainly the most consistent. He's always being proved right; he is the political equivalent of a long-play investor.

Ron Paul is wrong about certain actions 'inciting hatred' against America in particular and the west in general. Islamists have their own internalised logic and narrative. If we did not bomb them they would simply lie to establish a cassus belli or fall back on the militant abrogating provisions within the koran. In short muslims are always good at finding reasons to attack other people independently of any provocation.

Our founding fathers warned against standing armies not to mention the military industrial complex. Did you know George Bush Senior was a senior advisor for the Carlyle group, an arms manufacturer? So basically the Bush family profited DIRECTLY from having a war. Ever stop to think that maybe these politics might be instigating war just for profits? Nah you're one of those neo con idiots that actually think the war has helped us, but terrorism has grown ever larger because of it, real smart.

"Military expenditures are 15-20%" that's a fifth of our entire taxes that's a hell of a lot money...I didn't hear Ron Paul say that 100% of our money is going towards the war.

The chinese, japanese, and saudi's have been funding everything in the U.S, not just the war machine. Military expenditures are about 15-20% of our budget. Thats hardly something that can be argued. I'm don't support all this spending over seas either, but to say that that is where our money is going is simply false. If i'm wrong i would like to know about it so please provide me with some facts if you have them. Ron Paul is my favorite politition but he simply isn't right on everything.

We've been funding our war machine by borrowing from the Chinese, Japanese, and Saudis....Does this sound like a good idea?
