@ashtonriggers1111 Komi is a awarded to white for playing second. Its used mainly for full sized 19x19 boards (6.5 japanese - 7.5 china and us), for 13x13 it could be anything from 7.5 to 0.5, i like 5.5(old komi), and for the small 9x9 like on this video komi isn't really necessary because the board is so small only 0.5 is needed to prevent ties.
