Thank you for sleep deprived review brock, don't worry mate i understand this is not to be taken as a genuine analysis of the film, but your personal opinion. I did watch the whole 3 and half hours, i enjoyed it all, i'm a sucker for detail. If you like long historical epics this is your film if not best don't watch it, anyway very humorous.

Woah! dude I seen the first Alexander movie and I didn't care too much for it. It's not the worst movie ever made but it's not going on my "movie night" list. I don't care what people say about you making an ass of yourself, that was the truth about this movie. it's way too long and not worth the time unless you want to be bored for 2-3 hours. in summary loved the review!

How can you do a "review" of a movie when you haven't watched the entire film?

Troy was a historically inaccurate piece of Hollywood trash. The fact that you loved that movie explains why you hated Alexander so much.

This is not a review of "Alexander Revisited".

That requires accurate historical knowledge, familiarty with script and film procedures, a good deal of easthetic sense, and at least some level of intelligence. This upload simply is a review of Brockalock1 by Brockalock1. He makes it quite clear that he rates himself very poorly. Pretty sad.

@sfkcbf From your comment, I can see why you would enjoy a movie like Alexander; you both have an inflated opinion of yourself. The simple fact is, this was a terrible movie. You don't need an intimate knowledge of "script and film procedures" to know a self-indulgent and poorly-paced movie when you see it. Any person of taste, whether you can articulate it or not, sees Alexander for the bloated piece of schlock that it is.

You are right. If the movie had been told in chronological order it would have been a much better film.
