@gricer1326 The selection of shows on CBC Radio cannot be matched anywhere else in regard to so many aspects of Canadian life. Shows like Cross Country Check-Up, The Sunday Edition, Canada Reads, Q, The House, Hot Air, Age of Persuasion, Definitely Not The Opera.....the list goes on and on and on.... Radio 3 is also awesome for the huge selection of Canadian independent music...

@gricer1326 You know I agree with you, Gricer. I love alot of their shows. The Debaters is often a hilarious show actually....as well as Laugh Out Loud...for Canadian comedy.. I don't know any other station that is so informative....and it's so refreshing to not get blasted constantly with advertising... Not worth discussing anything with masterbaiting mikey, though......he's too busy with his compulsion to use his remnant of brain. Use it or lose it....LOL

@paulfornasier Love how he says it's an embarrassment to most Canadians....last time I checked, the majority of Canadians listen to, watch and enjoy the CBC and its diverse array of programming. What a putz he is.

@paulfornasier Too true. Let me just mention some of CBC's greatness; WireTap, Ideas, the Irrelevant Show (Edmonton), the Vinyl Café, Age of Persuasion, Quirks and Quarks, the Debaters, just to name a few. Plus, there's no advertising. What would Canada do without the CBC?

Brilliant idea!!! How about we let those that want to listen to the Communist Broadcasting Company pay for it themselves?
