sir,i would like to ask for your opinion: i did the test lamp method of the 1st and 2nd video,so i have ign positive to my + coil terminal,i have ground,i also did the coil test from your other video,and when i did a spark plug test with a jumper cable i did not get spark from the plug,i did it with new plug and old plug and/or i have thin spark or nothing...so if i have good coil,good points,condenser,the cap and the rotor must be failed,,well i bought new rotor and cap still no spark :( why?

Why can't your MossMotors show some respect by giving you a private space where we don't get to hear others and you don't have to whisper either?

would this test apply to my motorcycle a 4 stroke v twin 2 cylinder with 2 coils?

It wud be nice to have a suggestion what to do if the system test do not work, where do we go from there ?

This is a good test, thanks mossmotorscom..But personally i like testing with a DVOM for a more accurate reading and compare with manufacture specs

Okay, but what if the light doesn't come on at all??

Contact points? Is this an antique vehicle?
Love the simplicity of these clips Buuut....:~}
We poor inhabitants of planet dim need a little more help if we get a failure on the test. In my case the test lamp stays on all the time. So I have what, a permanent ground? So the points are not opening?

If the lamps stays on all the time the points don't open, the condenser is shorted internally, or the wire from the coil to the points is shorted to ground someplace.
