  • SG-1: ended.

    SG: A: cancelled.

    SG: U: cancelled.

    Stargate: Worlds: cancelled.

Yeah, an exciting time, Brad and the franchise is going strong. Uh-huh, just keep telling yourself that.

  • @pbarnes26 That's a bizarre theory you have there. Who are these 'big boys' you speak of?

  • i liked sgu. Its sad that iwas cancelled because it raised and got better in the last episodes. The 2nd season and the end of the first was really nice. I think SGU is a serie that needs the time to develop like a wine or something else.

  • I see what your saying Exportionist, it is a little more tenser than the other ones. However I have to agree with Loadmeup101 the second season has really come into its own. Its worth giving another look. By the way Stargate fans are going to bat because they saw in the second season the show is really gaining traction with the stories. They are organizing themseleves by the thousands on the social network sites: Facebook & Twitter, web, petitions. We need all the SG fans help & get involved.

  • SGU is a great sci-fi. I loved SG-1 and Atlantis, but I don't like SGU as much yet (I'm sure I just have to watch more of it, I've only see season 1.) Please, don't get me wrong and flame because I'M NOT DISSING SGU. It's just that there's so much drama that as far as TV goes, of course non-SG fans are going to like it. It appeals to a larger audience. I would just like a broader range of character personalities. They seem so angry & tense all the time. I liked SG-1 because it was more relaxing.

  • @Loadmeup101 Same, I loved SGA, but after watching SGU form episode 1 to the latest episode 5 of season 2, it's my fav :)

  • @Pl4stix I susspect it's because the hardcore fans are huge nerds with no interpersonal skills and therfore can't appreciate quality character interactions that go beyond the normal 2 dimensions. I love all the stargates but sgu is quickly becoming my favorite.

  • Really don't understand most of the nay-sayers. I enjoyed SG1 but have really loved SGU too, for different reasons. Are people upset because they think it is bad, or because is is not a carbon copy?

The accusation that it is not Sci-fi is quite astounding and its strange that SGU seems to be gaining far more praise from non SG fans, however anything that can help bring new people to the Sci-Fi genre that I love is a great thing in my eyes.

  • So far SGU is getting more interesting. The Lost episode surprised me cause I thought the three would make it back on Destiny.
