Some Bm blues on a Rickenbacker, for something different. I'm not the best bluesman but hope you enjoy it.

  • Great job man !!!.

  • @SousaSiddo Thanks.

  • Very awesome playing, I also play a Rickenbacker and these guitars are really different then people would expect they can do anything!!

  • @rickoreverb344 Thanks. They are really nice and versatile guitars. Although I DO like the typical Rick music, I also like it when I find out they were used in other styles.

  • I get very irritated when people say that Rickenbackers aren't versatile, and you have just showed them that that is not true! :D

  • @Criddington Thanks. My mission is slowly working!

  • What do you mean, man?? You're a damn fine blue player!!! I can't believe Ricks sound so good as a blue guitar too!! Always thought of them as a great rythym guitar but you proved me wrong.

  • @Criddington The point is they shouldn't be versatlie. There's no point going shopping for furniture in a sports car. The Ricky sound is perfect for a certain kind of playing. To hear this middle of the road white man office worker blues on such a unique and classic instrument breaks my heart. You can play this muck on anything.

  • You cant' hear me but I am applauding.....Sounds great! This shows you can do anything on a Ric! I wish people would understand this. Ric is the perfect guitar, the finish, the way it plays... nothing like it!

  • Very nice, soulful playing. Keep it up!

  • ちょっとミュートした時の籠った音がたまらない

    右手での弦の押さえ方によって色んな表情を出せてる

  • allthough this guitar is beautiful i would only use it to play chords and arpeggios

  • Sweet Blues on a Red Ax. I never had the opportunity to play a Rickenbacker, I play a 335 Gibson, and price is subjective, as a Mosrite, a Gibson, a Fender, etc is just as expensive when you get into vintage. I wish I could find an album where any of the "known" play about 5 different instruments, same settings thru a Marshall or Vox or Fender amp, and really hear how the difference makes the music. It is well over 75%, imho, the musician, many of which can take a tin can and dial up a symphony.

  • @6bender Thanks, we're doing a video of 'Sweet Emotion' soon, and more Beatle covers too. Using different guitars can be really inspiring. One of the best on-stage sounds I ever got was an Eko Kadet into an Orange 80watt amp. Those microphonic pickups were amazing. I could hear my thumb squeak on the back of the neck through that Orange. LOL. Had to stand across the far end of the stage facing away from the amp not to squeal all through the set, but it was worth it.
