This is clearly a billion times better in almost everyway vs the new Civic. The new tC has way better styling than the civic coupe. HP gain is 19 which is way better than what Honda got in their new Si, a whopping 4 extra HP. tC is the drivers alternative to civic coupe. Great job Toyota!!

Man, they stopped putting engine cover in these. If your not going to put one in, at least make the wires and pipes colored or add a sign showing it's a 2.5l i4 OR just make the engine compartment more neat, cause it's a mess under the hood.

Agreed. Don't get me wrong. I like both brands and the regular civic is great car for it's class.  People have to leverage the Si version to be better than the tC and in some cases yes, but at a $3k-4k price premium. This doesn't mean one or the other is a crap car. Both are great cars but like you said, the tC offers a great alternative and choice is great for the consumers.

tC doesn't come with limited slip diff, weighs more, fuel economy is about the same, premium sound not standard, fog lamps not standard blue tooth is an option list can continue but I don't wanna type it all LOL.. So ya you pay more for the Si but you get a lot more for the money... Plus whats $3k more any way the price goes down if rebates and incentives are available.

EVERYONE COMPARES EVERY 4 BANGER OUT THERE TO A CIVIC SI. WHY? BECAUSE THEY ARE THE MOST GENERIC FUCKING CAR EVER MADE. SO DO THE MATH. IF MORE PEOPLE HAVE CIVICS THENS TCs...THEN THERE ARE GOING TO BE MORE HATERS ON TCs! ITS A FUCKING OPINION
