This has been requested a few times, so here it is: A tutorial on how to transfer stock iPhone apps to an iPad and run them.

You'll need:
- iPhone (jailbroken)
- iPad (jailbroken)
- iFile
- Safari Download Manager

*NO COMPUTER IS NEEDED*

Basically, you need to ZIP up the .app folders from /Applications/ on your iPhone with iFile, start up a web server, connect to the web server on your iPad, download the ZIPped file, extract everything to /Applications/, and respring. Really quite simple.

  • Does this work on the ipad 2.

  • You were using a gesture to close apps...........what is that called in Cydia?

  • @ITechTyler12 It's not in Cydia. You have to manually enable them unless you jailbroke with redsn0w. We have a how-to video on how to manually enable them.

  • What was the gesture feature you were using called? Also what was the respiring menu called? I wanted those for my iPad. Nice video btw......

  • @ITechTyler12 Multitasking gestures. Not sure what you're talking about regarding the "respring menu".

  • I just got weather & clock to work. Calculator & stocks worked as soon as I tried this but weather and clock crashed everytime. I am not sure how I got them working but I believe it was because I went to core services and turned iPad off thru ifile. I did this to install spire on iPad thru cydia. I I just took a shot to see if weather would work and it did to my surprise. Idk if it was working before I went into core services or not but maybe/maybe not.

  • @GetPatriotized @Toogeekedshawty's channel I got it working but Notifications center is a bit stuffed up for weather

  • Same as below

  • @Lonehangman just tried it on my ipad 2,didn't work,i get white icons and the crash

  • Thanks for this video,I was going to try this but wasn't sure it would work.

  • Does this work on iPad 1 iOS 5.0.1? I don't want to go through all that just to crash and burn

  • amazing job on this video. thumbs up x1000

  • Good work . But one question . How to do this all on iOS 5 .and can we put it into notification l. Like iPhone

  • i have iOS 5, and i did exactly what you did in the video, and calculator works perfectly, even without RetinaPad, but all the other stock apps i downloaded (stocks, weather, and clock) crash every time the instant i open them. i have the redsn0w iOS 5 jailbreak.

  • I have an iPad 2 (4.3.3) and I want these apps, but i don't have an iphone or ipod. is there anywhere I can download these apps?
