The most important person in Renee's life has been her father, Robert Irving "Bobby" Sandstrom (born 1934). In addition to performing with Renee and training her musically, Bobby has worked tirelessly for many decades to provide the secure, financial climate necessary for Renee's artistic development. In the past, Bobby had been an ad agent employed by Creative Images Ad Agency but in 2010, Bobby successfully earned his license to sell life insurance, accident insurance, and health insurance.
