picked up two of these subs from a local place, the one had a shreaded spyder and the other had what i though was torn tinsel leads under the cap, a bent coil, and detached spyders. well low and behold i lined it up glued it down and i have a working woofer. i also got a 10" woofer from the place that was said to be blown, all that was wrong with that was a detached spyder from the voice coil, i removed the dust cap, shimmed it glued it and replaced the dust cap and it works perfect.
