Let's Play ColecoVision 2010 The Graphic Action Game published by Coleco in 1984

In the game 2010 the graphic action game, you have to fix the circuits of life support, reactor, and of course de complex crystals structure of HAL. Meanwhile, the sun flairs affect the circuits. When everything is fixed and ready, press the button on the keypad to see the launch sequence as a reward to your hard work.

This is my best game footage at skill level 3.

Note : The crystals that makes the electric thingy go straight, turn right or bouncing back is kinda difficult, specially when it's your first time and you don't know really what you should do and how to do it.

Personal Fun Fact : I did dream one night of this videogame during the laste 80s, and it's only in the 90s that I've got this game and played it for the first time. I was shocked to see the game I did dream of long time ago.

Well, as you can see in this video, you need to fix HAL, rockets, life support, and other functions in order to escape the sun... In the movie 2010, the planet Jupiter turned into a sun after reactivating HAL and convince him to not investigate the phenomena to save all these scientists.

For me, this game is based on the movie without being strickly based on it.

I loved this game back in the day. Does this mean that we've had games like this for 25 years????  Eek.

@newcoleco, it's not the sun Discovery is falling down to, but Jupiters moon Io.

I thought it would be nice to complete this game before this year ends; but after I got all the circuits working, nothing happened and the Discovery fell down to IO.. The manual says that I must start up the engines, but how?? The manual is terrible, btw.

I played this game constantly when I was a kid. I haven't seen it in action since probably 1985.
