St. Timothy's: What I want to be - mamahope.org

Mama Hope Fellow Lucia Crenshaw asks some of the kids at St. Timothy's what they want to be when they grow up. Hilarity ensued. St. Timothy's School is run by Mama Hope's community based partner Tanzania Children Concern in Moshi, Tanzania. Currently Mama Hope is funding the building of a new school in the Newland village outside Moshi for Orphaned and Vulnerable children. These kids and another 300 more will be attending the new school when it's finished!

Shame to see gender stereotypes continue to persevere - the girls only considering nursing, teaching or a beauty pageant, and the boys thinking about science and politics. Also, the fact that you so explicitly encouraged 'Bible Man' as being so good, while not doing the same for others, is another shame - Africa doesn't need more priests: one hand in action is better than a thousand in prayer
