It just sounds like you laptops soundchip doesn't support stereo mix.
Many don't....In fact it's rare to find a Vista laptop that supports what's shown in my video.

@Split10 I have a Sony Laptop with Windows Vista and when I right clicked and marked at the disconnected and disabled devices I didn't find the stereo mix , what's the problem?

I made a video for Windows 7, and as far as I know the settings are on the same no matter what flavour of Windows 7 you have.
