1965 Cine Film - Pleck Park Swings and Play area

1965 How the kids Play area including the swings and slides have all changed, compared to today.. Safety is the key today but back then kids had fun and grew up learning about danger. You needed to when confronted with the "Giant Stride" what a ride that was !

Oh wow, I live right by pleck park and I grew up playing in the park, I'm now 18 this is really interesting to see what the park and area was like then.

@Askatechannel I too grew up playing in Pleck Park as you can see, but how its changed today in comparison. Did you notice too in some of the shots, there was no M6 motorway in the background. :-)

@Bevoin1970 Oh yeah, I did notice! It looks so much more calmer and peaceful in comparison to today, where you can't go for a quite walk without the hearing roaring motorway that surrounds the place, and no problem. :)
