Very well done. The timing and the choice of clips is just, I don't know. Amazing haha. Where did you get all the HD clips from? I only have low res torrents and when I rip my DVDs with fairuse wizard it scales them down. I'm trying to make a 1080p montage with all the greatest movies. The only thing I can think of is finding all the movie trailers in HD then woking from there. I'd appreciate it if you could shed some light. Thanks.

@Disinf3ctant All my clips come from 1080p trailers. Sometimes you need to download various trailers from the same movie to get the scene you need/want. To edit I recommend Sony Vegas.

You should go for quiet components (Zalman and seasonic are the brands I use). You dont need the fastest processor for a HTPC so a Core 2 Duo should be fine (I use my old CPU and its single core at 3.0GHz). What you need its high capacity HDD (500GB++). I recommend doing RAID 1 for maximum safety for your data.
