  • I can't wait until I graduate

  • @spareld great to hear! When is your expected graduation date?

  • I have nothing agaisnt devry as I was a former student. However i feel it is not the best for me. Devry is for people who desperately need a degree and knows where they want to go. If your a teenager trying to find where you belong Devry is deffinitely not for you. Your classmates will mostly consist of single parents, parents, some clueless highschool graduates like myself. Devry does not give REAL college experience. Recent grads, do yourself a favor and go to a public college.

  • @breakdancer100 We're sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your time here at DeVry University. We have an amazing student body which we're very proud of, and we also do know there's quite a few students who attend our university immediately after finishing high school. As far as not receiving a real education, we have many graduates who disagree with that statement as well.

  • I'm ashamed to admit this, but when I was active duty I used military tuition assistance benefits to take a few DeVry Online classes. The classes were mediocre and uninspiring at best. What's worse was that the DeVry admin tried to charge me twice by falsely claiming that they did not receive the army tuition assistance checks. I wised up and transferred to a REAL college after my enlistment; at least I didn't waste my GI Bill at DeVry "university". Fellow service members please take note.

  • @typhoidX Hi there. Very sorry to hear this comment. We apologize for the late response, but we'd like to further understand your comment and why you feel this way. Would you mind if we sent you a private message?

  • @TheDevryUniversity A degree from a school that is advertised on daytime tv and Youtube is a joke. You're obviously preying on the bottom 20% of the current college age population. All that is required to get into your worthless university is a pulse, and that attracts desperate and naive kids like bait. These kids are not students, they were never meant to continue with their education, and if they were, there are other, more productive, and certainly less expensive ways.

  • @ShawnTTMartin It's unfortunate that you feel this way. I know that many of our graduates are really proud of the work they've accomplished. Just like many other top universities, we are accredited by The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Also our students are backed by a school with 80 years of experience in providing technology- and business-based higher education.

  • News flash youtube trolls you need at least a bachelors degree if you want to start a successful career.

  • @DENARUMBLES626 I did two years of community college full time and then transfered to a four year public university. All together, I graduated in less than five years. The experience was great and well worth it. Even though I appreciated saving money by going to community college, I would much rather have done my entire undergrad as a resident at my alma mater. If I were you, I would not even consider going to a for-profit school and, at the very least, start taking classes at you local CC.

  • @jas0609 They doesn't really make DeVry look bad as you are the one who applied for the Starbucks job, doesn't really matter where you get your degree from, finding a good paying job in your career field after graduating is not guaranteed to anyone.

  • @Audiofalcon7 That is so true. I have been saying that for years and I have 2 degrees.

  • 1 in 100,000 DeVry grads are remotely intelligent. They target poorer adults and minorities with the promise of an education. I am all for capitalism but this has gone overboard. To tell you the truth NOT EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO TO COLLEGE. Go work on cars or even be a trashman and make 45k a year. If we had 90 percent of the people as college graduates, who would ever work a manual labor job?

  • @anthony15926 A degree guarantees nothing. Millions upon millions of people can attest to that. It may make it "easier", but you have 0 guarantees. It's more on you on how you handle the job market in your field than anything else.
