a thing that is lacking in game intros and games itself today is the soundtrack , wipeout 2097 is in a league of its own for sound and music a true classic for art and music

I don't know what you all will say about this but, I had this game for the Nintendo64. Anyone else have it for the N64?

I really feel left out, I've got all the Wipeouts except for this one :( I didnt even know it existed until a few years back... I wish it was on the PS store, I would grab it in a second :D
In other wipeout news, Wipeout 2048 is coming to the Playstation Vita (the PSP2) I am so excited about it!!!
Also who else downloaded the Wipeout HD/Fury welcome back? I had HD but not Fury so I'm not complaining :)

The Designers' Republic were running their A Game and this game put Psygnosis on the map as one of the most creative game makers at the time. This game was SO well done - and FUN!

The game was on both PC and PS1. The game was called Wipeout 2097 in PAL regions and Wipeout XL in NTSC regions.

The song is done by the Future Sound of London (it's called We Have Explosive Part 4), and unfortunately, no other wipeout games have been released on PC since.
