Rep. Rick Green spoke at Florida Atlantic University Davie Campus for an event hosted by the Intercollegiate Studies Institute and the Jack Miller Forum. Rep. Green spoke on the founding principles of America. There was a one and a half hour long lecture and a forty minute question and answer session.
Lets pause a second a look how the situation in America is getting worse and worse. Guys open your eyes. Christianity has been taken out of the lifestyle in America and look what is happening. I mean can't anybody see that things are not getting any better; while the American faith decreases, the moral decreases, values (don't even know how much is left), violence, crime , poverty increase. Can't you guys see that no matter what somebody says, THERE IS SOMETHING MISSING IN THE AMERICAN CULTURE

@stinky472 Have you read "Jefferson's Bible"? Do you know what it contains? It contains the words/teachings of Jesus, not the entire Bible. It was a teaching tool. He gave it to the missionaries that he sent (as President) to preach to Indian populations. Jefferson said "The doctrines of Jesus are simple, and tend all to the happiness of mankind." @NecrosisOfLight As Atheistjeremy pointed out, Jefferson was very obviously a deist. There is no way the creator mentioned there was the Judeo-Christian God. Jefferson even wrote his own Bible: you should read it along with the writings of the framers (ex: The Federalist Papers) to understand what was meant in the Declaration of Independence. It will make you a better citizen and if your position is to defend Christianity, it will strengthen that position to know what you are talking about.

The Christian Bible, and The 10 Commandments is the exact OPPOSITE , the antithisis of our CONSTITUTION. "One GOd" does not square with freedom of religion (to worship ANY god you choose or NO god. Stoning for adulterers, disobedient children and homosexuals or atheists DOES NOT square with the 1st admendment.

That's the Declaration of Independence. There's no mention of Jesus, Yahweh or Christianity in that document in that document either. Thomas Jefferson, who wrote the Declaration, was a DEIST and was certainly not a fan of Christianity.
It doesn't matter what the Declaration says regarding this issue. The Constitution is the law of the land. The Constitition begins with "We the People" not "We for Jesus."

I think the serious objection I have is that although America was founded on christian principles, they are not, nor ever will be, as pure or as upstanding as you pretend.
Your founding fathers were slave-owners, misogynists, and most were the richest of the rich (making concepts like a tax revolt laughable as it probably affected them only a little).
Your revolution was spurred by terrorism (sons of liberty), and although you can whitewash it, you hade just as many loyalists as not. Dont lie
