Oh boy, we had quite a trip to the AFI Silver Theater on Friday w/ several of the seniors who were still in town and a guest visit from my friend Chris Bartos. A very entertaining slideshow is forthcoming.
Following along w/ the slideshow, the day got off to a very auspicious start as I had to change a flat tire first thing in the morning and then went to the used tire place to get THREE replacement tires on my tank.
Jane was not ready to go, so I went in and took a picture of her burnt rum cake.
Chris had a hard time staying awake as you will see and he is quite the ham for the cam.
We then ventured to Silver Spring to watch "It's a Wonderful Life" on the big screen. Nothing like it! Much better than on tv. We all cried.
Then off to Macaroni Grille for a fantastic late lunch/early dinner.
Then off to Manor Care to visit Betty Snowden who was recovering from gnemonia. We got a her a little Christmas sweater too!
Chris hamming it up all the way. It was a great day!!!
