Intercession for the Unknown by Praying in Tongues

Praying in Tongues (speaking in tongues) is powerful. This is the story of how a spirit of "death by car crash" came against the youth in our area. We prayed for those in our church, and received success. Later, after we thought the spirit had passed, we were urged in the spirit to pray for some unknown thing. Suddenly leaving the prayer session, I found myself to be the next car behind a car crash which sent two young men and their car hurtling into the air.

I also would like to say that the adversary has been trying to take me out by "death by car accident". He's been trying really hard since the initial crash in 2006, but because of my Jehovah Jireh, I have been able to walk away from "should be dead" accidents without a scratch. Hallelujah!!!

I have seen this happen before, too. The Highway Patrol arrived, looked at my friend's car and said, "Whoever was driving that car is dead or seriously injured." But the officer said it to my friend who was standing there without a scratch!

Ask, and you shall receive. Personally, I had a mental block. Many people had told me in my youth that there is no such thing- only "crazy" people speak in tongues.

So, to overcome the flesh, you can take a fast. Remove some things from your diet. Every time you want them, refuse. Instead, pray again for this gift. Tell the flesh to stand aside.

Go to a church where real healings and works evident of the Holy Spirit exist. Ask the women to pray for you.

@SmartAlx There are tounges and interpretations ,that is a gift for the building up of the church. The other tounges are a prayer language to build up the believer. Christians do have full control over the use of both.

@cedarpictures. At the end of Mark...before Jesus ascends...he tells us that those who believe in him will speak with new tongues.  Speaking in tongues is real and It IS the Holy Spirit! Some things can only be discerned by the Holy Spirit.

Everyone who speaks in tongues and does not follow the guidelines layed out in 1Corinthians 14 is disobeying God. It seems evident (to me anyway) that most who speak in tongues are not in control, they aren't orderly, they don't know what they are saying and if they have an interpreter they can't verify that the interpreter is interpreting correctly.
