I watched this video and took every method to Lake Ray Hubbard in Texas. I kayaked out, found the depth, rigged up the way you said. 2 hours later, 7 catfish were filleted and in my freezer. Thank you very much.

@miguelpah Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for writing. On that day, I was actually using one of my inshore, slat water outfits. It was a Cabelas Salt Striker brand rod/reel combo. It is a good, multi purpose rod/reel and I really like it.....it reasonably prices as well.
