  • I want to shop at your store. The one I have to deal with in Joplin, MO is so sad.

  • We are exploring online ordering... though it isn't the same as actually coming in and enjoying the experience. :)

  • Did you guys shoot this at midnight :P Never heard it so quiet back there.

X-Factor #39 was pretty good. I've been with it from the start of starts, so it was a shock but of course makes sense.

I still hear people talking about OMD and I'm saying, they do it to every comic couple in one way or another. Just cause it's Spider-Man shouldn't mean it's the end of the world. While characters like Madrox or Syrin can and will go completely overlooked by second hand comic fans.

  • 11 AM, before we opened. That's why it was so quiet.

Also, our new mic keeps background noise down anyway, which is nice. Hooray for t3ch!

  • When John Romita Jr. comes on you know there is a good story arc a la new ways to die.

Noir is fantastic and what do you think about Daredevil and Wolverine Noir?

  • It'll be interesting to see where they go with the Noir idea from here. Daredevil shouldn't be much of a departure from the 616. Wolverine appeared in X-Men Noir #2, so I wonder if he'll be used again, or if another writer will reimagine him for his own series.

After Spider-Man and X-Men, I'm willing to give every new Noir mini a shot.

  • I didn't like the Wolverine stuff either but I think its down to stylistic choices that Bianchi makes rather than him being a "bad" artist.

Some of his panel layouts don't work too well and don't flow plus he seems to use grey washes rather than inking his pencils which makes most panels look like their drenched in grey and kind of murky and indistinct.

On Xtreme Xmen Salvador Larroca did something similar but the washes had a lot more colour and life than Bianchi's

  • Certainly issues #26 & 27 were not great art. The advanced art looked aweome. I liked the Wolverine stuff from the death of Sabertooth.

  • Sure we can agree to disagree, peoples tastes can be different.

    he's still a horrible artist though ;)

  • Hehe, I think you and I have disagreed on artists before, alot. I'll just leave it at that ; )

  • Simone Bianchi's art is so overrated. The colouring on his art as well is horribly bleached out. I already cancelled this book with 27.

Is X-Factor the only 2.99 book in that bunch?
