@supergokue1 I was just wondering, would you be interested in selling me one? I attempted to make one...but I failed horribly lol. I could pay you in advance if you like, I would just really like to have one. Thanks either way!

That is one SWEET design. Thank you so much for sharing.

Really nice video and design!
Im trying to build one too! I already built one but it does not rotate so good although there is strong winds blowing so i got a few question to clear out my build research.
1st. does the weight of the whole turbine effect the rotation of the motor?
2nd. If i increase more blades inside the turbine it will make it move faster?
Thank you.

Good work! Thumbs up.

Nice. The device looks like a combination of a wind turbine and anemometer. Wind turbines are very beneficial to use. It simply produce free electricity. There's no risk at all.
I like your design bruddah ... Could you tell me about the alternator/generator that you used ... Looks like an automotive one ... what is it ???
Thanks ...

@superdivemaster I used a 12 volt dc motor that I got out of a free treadmill. I have come to really like them for wind turbines. There are 2 reasons that I like them so much. First, they are free and the other reason is they are real easy to deal with. Thank you for the question, Lonny

I I have an 12v alternator and wonder if it could be used for this application. I sincerely prefer the VAWT model.

@1899lpv I do not think this would work well with a alternator. You need a lot of speed for a alternator to give you power. This turbine is better for torque because of its size. Thank you for the question, Lonny

Ok awsum vid but how is the axle connected to the turbine

@gooberboy98 In this one I used a treadmill axil, I just cut a hole in the center of a round piece of wood and just put them together. Then I used a few screws to hold it down. Thanks for the question, Lonny
