This is a clip from the South African Gospel Music Complilation DVD. It's by Sharon Dee, the former girlfriend/wife/wife-to-be of Zimbabwe's soccer star Peter Ndlovu, who's based in the U.K now. While I respect that a lot of southern african artists decide to go gospel, in my opinion, however, I think a lot of it is purely commercial. Very few of them actually sing from the heart. Especially with this one- but- I sincerely hope I'm wrong. Still, its music from home right? Enjoy!

  • She's saying "Did you know Jesus doesnt take chances (He's no risk-taker),Hallelujah, Thru Him we shall overcome...Did you know that He is the Lion [of the tribe of Judah], we shall surely overcome- Lion of Judah, hallelujah, we shall overcome thru Him"- next she's like "I know he's no risk-taker (meaning its no game of chance) when you pray in Spirit and in Truth- ask ME about it! We shall surely overcome thru Him then the rest is basically a repeat of the above
