  • @nebdar there are some religions that are used against all ppl, but not all religions. I know why ppl celebrate malcolm x but as a person who truly loves malcolm x as my brother, i would never say "fuck religion" in the same breath as saying he is my hero, out of respect because like i said whether ppl like it or not he was a religious man, and when he became a religious man that's when he started doing so much for our community, not when he was just messing around.

  • @SEEKIN4BENEFIT btw, we can debate and disagree without dividing. Ase o to you fam.

  • @JesusIzABlackMan fareal fareal, most can't spit no way. beats and lyrics be off.

  • @SEEKIN4BENEFIT Of course religion has color. Nothing exist outside of cultural context.

  • @SEEKIN4BENEFIT Not ignoring the fact he was religious man. Im saying that that isn't what we as Afrikans celebrate him for. We celebrate Malcom because of the work he did for Afrikan people. Not because he personally chose to pray to Allah. Same goes for anyone else who is or has done the work. No one is always going to agree on everything. Thats silly. But it doesn't change the fact that religion is one of the greatest weapons used against Afrikan people.

  • @nebdar first of all religion has no color, so religion has nothing to do with race, but if malcolm x is your hero than you can't just ignore the fact that he was a religious man! You don't have to stick up for the sister cause I am not dissing her, the problem with afrikans is that we act like we have to agree on everything and if we don't agree we divide! It sounded strange to me to say "malcolm x is my hero" and then "fuck religion" in the same breath, that's it that's all!

  • @SEEKIN4BENEFIT what does religion especially non Afrikan ones, have to do with Afrikan liberation? We praise his contribution to the race not his religious view necessarily. We understand, acknowledge, and combat the damage that has been caused by non Afrikan religions to Afrikans.

  • diz wut hip hop need rite here

  • @nappyg1 i agree, though they both did a lot, why is it that most black folks forget malcolm x? This is exaclty why I don't get hype on mlk day!

  • how you gonna say "malcolm x" is my hero and then diss religion?
