@tthomaselli2 That's simple - the real Devon Miles was kidnapped and the criminal organisation analysed his entire body and vocals and put the copy into someone else.

@wreathofpalmaria There was a Spray used to somehow take away KITT's Molecular Bondage Shell, and this armoured ramming vehicle destroyed the Knight 2000.
