First few minutes of a seminar presentation by Ray Rempt on how mankind can know that God exists and cares for us. Ray has a Ph.D. in physics from UCLA.
I decided to modify the ending rather than upload the entire, hour-long talk. This will basically give you the entire message. I hope to add some pictures to this presentation. This would result in me deleting and replacing this video in the future.

  • At 1:28 you say "It is not possible to prove that God exists because the prover has to be greater than the provee." This is not so. This is a false premise. I can prove that Warren Buffet exists and he is a lot richer than I am. See?

You unfairly slander Einstein and beliitle his religious beliefs. Near the end of the video you say that our existence is the proof of a personal God. Nonsequitor. One thing does not lead logically to the other.

  • What he said makes sense because what criteria can we possibly set that God must meet? In other words, how can we presume to say (as atheists tend so often do) that, "If God exists, then we would expect that..." NO, we cannot make such criteria because God can do what He wants. He does not have to show scientific proof of his existence to mankind.

His arguments are more fully explained by Christian apologists with expertise in philosophy.

  • If god or gods exists wht are you having to tell us.

  • I assume "wht" = "why".

Well, it all depends on how God wants to operate. We Christians believe that God chose to speak to humans through the written Word and by word of mouth from person to person.

  • By the way, the same argument can be made against atheism...

In the 60s, there was a big "God is dead" movement, yet religion has made a huge comeback worldwide since that time. If modernism and science have made the idea of God both illogical and unnecessary, why is religion still as strong a force as ever? Why do atheists need to work so hard to try to convince people of something they "should" already know?

  • PROOVIE go away like your common sense did , your an idiot

  • 2 minutes of mumbo followed by 2 minutes of jumbo

  • Then religion is the only stable thing in the ever-changing uNIVERSE. you can only think you know the answer. Mankind has been looking for answers and many times against the church´s dogmas. Those who disapproved were killed as heretics

  • Eternity - this word is a bit suspicious. I was born in Czechoslovakia, and the communists had a slogan saying "With the Soviet Union for eternity". That was scary, man! These big words - Eternity, Forever, Creator...

The question you ask yourself is understandable for a thinking person.

  • the creator must then be eternal i guess. i mean, what created matter in general then right? makes me feel weird talking about all that

  • the world is so beautiful to not have a creator. This creator is so great not to have a creator. So who created this creator?

  • religion will keep being strong as long as there are gullible people in the world. theres definitly many more atheists now then there were 50 years ago because people nowadays are more free to come up with their own personal beliefs. i personally believe that no matter whether some1 is atheist or christian they are entitled to their opinion and we cant disown or disprove their opinion

  • Yawn* It seems the Christians are out numbered on youtube by Non Christians? Why? Well because Christians already know the answer and Non Christians are on here babbling and debating on comments looking for an answer. LOL. Romans 1:20
