This recitation is with absolute beauty and sophistication. Qari Abdul Basit captures the passages with a happy tone. This is how the Qura'n is suppose to be read. Alhumdurillah this is a perfect example for those who want to study recitals of the Qura'n with yaqeen

Yes the tape has been speeded up a little since his voice is not that squeaky :)
but its sounds amazing, Its not just form the heart, its his level of Imaan whilst reciting. You feel that you are there!

No doubt..he is a great recitor.I heard a lot of recitors recitation.But I didn't found such a clear & breathtaking voice as well as heartblowing recitation like Sheikh Abdul basit Al Samad.The recitation of him sounds like it doesn't come from the earth...it comes from Heaven.

Ya that is right. Allah blessed his voice. In an interview he told that he was rectting surah Muzammil in Masjid-an-Nabawi, and he felt like he was in jannah! Subhanallah! that tells how great the person is.
