Charlotte the baby goose

At my first 2 weeks of work experience I worked for my Auntie Sue. A few of the geese were sitting eggs so it was pritty hard to feed them without being jumped at by the proud mommys.

They hatched on my 17th birthday. One however kept falling out of the nest and was eventually trodden on and we thought it was dead. But after we picked it up it started to move.

We then hand reared it for a few days before giving it back to it's mum. It's name at first was named Kirby because it loved my uncle Brian's hat but as it grew my Auntie realised it was female and not male.

'Tis now named after me. She's still tiny compared to her brothers though, most proberbly due to her bad start in life.
