I absolutely love that Gliga 1.
At how many Hz you fine tuned the Strings ?
Will you allow me to download your video on my iPad ?
Beautiful sounds indeed !
Cheers from Mauritius.

Thanx for the question. It is the Stradivari model. I don't often get the
Guarneri, as Gliga seem to do the Strad a lot better.

Hi;
Do you still sell the Gliga that you played here? Do you start with a Gems 1 elite?

@madogblue
Thanx for the question.
Yes we still sell this Gliga I. The Gliga I and Struna Concert are our
two most popular violins in this price range.
Our starting model of Gliga is Gliga III, which is equivalent to
a Genial I, but with over $200 of better parts/setup. -Rich-

Which strings do you recommend for the Gliga 1

@thetarafae
Thanx for the question
Hi! The Gliga 1 is a very mellow sounding instrument, so I like to use brighter sounding strings
so that the sound doesn't disappear. I usually use Pirastro Tonicas, Evah Pirazzis , Dominant or vision.

@rbodinnar Many thanks for that. Very helpful. Also, what would you recommend for a Gliga Gama (pro) with a larger than usual lower bout (Guarnerius it's called).
thetarafae 5 months ago
@thetarafae The pro model is usually a bit brighter and
louder than the Gliga I, but the Guarneri model tends to be deeper, and more mellow than the usual Stradivarius models. I think I'd go the same brighter sounding strings.
