  • In Andrew Chaikin's book "A MAN ON THE MOON", there is an interesting paragraph on page 225 describing the approach of Eagle in the above photograph taken by Mike Collins: "He would always remember the moment: all of humanity captured in a single photograph, minus only himself, the photographer."

  • Amazing ! I never saw that perspective. It is truly humbling.

  • ambient chillout,as bad as 'chillaxing' !!!!!

  • @jackshel

Eno did a stint or two with Daniel Lanios (Lan wha) in that collaboration they used Daniel's mastery of the electric slide guitar. Lanios' solo albums like The beauty of Wynona and Shine to name two, are wonderful. Lanios performs the closing song on the movie "Slingblade", that's were I found him. I've always loved Eno and was delighted to find they had worked together.

  • a country flavor was added to these songs because most of the astronauts listened to country music. This is from what i read.I am not anenoexpert!!!

  • @Ljotulfson My friend, I think you just wrote the most thoughtful comment on youtube.

  • This is the official MOST RELAXING SONG IN THE WORLD.

  • As someone else remarked, It's THE most melodic track. I don't relate it to this subject matter at all. It's a strange choice, of slow waltz time, played by country musical intruments, and I visualise a totally different image. It's a great piece of work though, and I love it.

  • @Ljotulfson oh man thats amazing..evrything he ever knew in his sight.

  • @Ljotulfson That's amazing. What a daunting and humble perspective.

  • what happened to that dream, that goal that brought us their in the first place? thumbs up if you want the REAL space program back!

  • @Ljotulfson thats amazing
