Windsurfing / Karpathos / Crash at 50 km/h / GoPro Hero

When surfing at 50 km/h I suddenly saw a reef in front of me and jumped in the water. I started in Afiartis in the Chicken Bay, where the wind was very weak, passed the Gun Bay, where the wind built up, and continued to the Devil's Bay and beyond, where the wind became really strong so that I got overpowered. did you fix the gopro on a helmet or did you use the headstrap?? if you used the headstrap? is it stable or do you easily loose the cam? ...its because i want to use it for waveriding.

@aurel821993 I used a helmet, but have experience also with a headstrap. The headstrap is very stable. But just to be really sure that I would not loose my camera in any case, I fastened the headstrap with a wide and loose rope on my neck (I made it on a safe way so that I would not be strangled in case of an accident).

Nice vid! I saw that you use a Garmin Forerunner 205. I have a 305 and I use it only for biking. I would like to use it for windsurfing too, but is it water resistant? Enough for windsurfing???
