She came alive in season four. She'd been great in the rest of the seasons, but in four she seemed to finally come into herself. Really sucks how B5 got so fucked around by the industry. One of the best sci-fi shows of all time

She is sooo beautiful.
I wish there would be another B5'ish tv-serie where we follow Susan Ivanova as the captain of some big powerful earth ship. Although they would need a good story. The Legend of the Rangers was quite week. :(

No, Warner was about to cancel the show after season 4 and it was unclear wether threre would be a fifth season. Claudia Christian did not want to take the chance of being bogged down by agreeing to stay on a show that was about to be cancelled and took on other engagements,while still ahead of the game. If she really had pissed off JMS he could have scripted her character's death in the battle against earth without creating a backdoor for her in the plot.
