In Honor of Cream

Cream was a cute and innocent gerbil found in front of my Mom's restaurant. So here's the story, all of our cousins were at the New Years Party at my cousin's mom restaurant.

Then we were playing and goofing around inside. Later my cousin looked out at the window and saw this small black moving ball. She didn't know what it was and thought it was a lost little bird. So she pointed at it and told everybody to look and we all ran outside(well all of the cousins). We figured out it was a lost gerbil/hamster thing and it was nibbling at a piece of squashed cookie on the ground. All the kids thought it was so cute, except for one cousin, Shannen,who just looked disgusted and ran away to tell.


As for the rest of us, we caught it in a cup and fed it fortune cookies. It was so cute and my cousin started recording him on my phone. That's when the parents found out. They screamed and started yelling at us telling to viciously wash our hands, even though none of us, except me(berry1998 a.k.a animal lover).


We did as we were told and washed our hands. Then the parents told us to get rid of "it". Thus, we all agreed to set it free. I gently set it on the ground so he could scurry out. 5 seconds later my uncle picked the cup and threw it carelessly in the trash can gerbil and all. Steph and Vivian saw the last bit of him and ran screaming in the restaurant and told everyone. One of my cousins, J.T., figured out that Shannen had told on us, therefore killing the gerbil.




So, we made a grave in mine and my cousin's(Kevin a.k.a smashstriker5510) backyard. Everyone was sad and did all they could to keep him alive, like trying to run out the door even though it was blocked by a guard. We tried many attempts but never succeeded. Now, we made a vow that every New Years, we would celebrate his death. We named him Cream because of his fur. It was grayish black and had beady cute eyes. The last noise we heard was rustling sounds and a squealing sound.


We know that Cream was dirty and all but it had no reason to die in a trash can. We wanted to set him free to find his mama. Even though we knew Cream for about 5 minutes, it seemed like we knew him forever. Cream will stay in our hearts forever more.

aawww! i feel SO sorry 4 u! poor thing, dieing in a trash can. my 3 hamsters died, all in 1 month. so i know how horrible it is to c ur dead baby. cream is a cutey. i should make a movie on my hammys...

:/ poor gerbil or mouse (looked more like a mouse) >.> im gussing u live in a city? mice are actuly 1 of the less nasty things in ur house did u know there is toilet water on ur tooth brush no matter were u keep it because its contaminated by our hands no matter how much we wash or how carefull we are (not trying to sound gross but ish true)
