near water is an oasis, ive been to a desert before

usually a palm tree next to a pond or something, or even a larger oasis

if there is water in a desert, increase grass concentration towards the water, and then add a palm tree or two

In my opinion RPG Maker 2003 is still the best one. I didn't like any of the new ones so far. Cool map though =]
