@monkeybird2008 It's amazing how 1 man (Jack) can create a fun, unique, & quirky show that people love to watch turned into to a boring bunch of crap! This new show SUCKS! I agree 100% with you. Who the hell allowed these people to TOTALLY RUIN Jack's show???

They totally ruined it. I haven't been this disappointed since the new Star Wars films. If it's not broke don't fix it.

Take 100 people ... show the the old version with Jack & the new boring version. Ask the 100 people which one is more fun & educational. I'll bet 95% to 100% would choose the old version hands down. They would also choose the old theme song as well. Why the hell do people ALWAYS want to change what works??? Jack gave us a great program. Find a fun enthusiastic person who is over the top like Jack, to turn kids on to astromomy ... not bore them to death. This new format is an insult to Jack.

People who are into astronomy may continue to watch the new show. This new show will NEVER inspire new viewers, especially kids, the way Jack's show did. It's just not FUN or quirky. So it will appeal to only a very few & NOT build on Jack's success or life long goal of turning more people on to astronomy. When you have the perfect music intro, why would you change that? This new format is a MAJOR scrw up! It's just plain boring. These guys mean well but lack the enthusiasm that Jack had. Sad.

@silvereagle2061 I couldn't agree more. The music from Debussy, was classic, and what do these young whippersnappers know about old school, or classic? They could have encorporated the tune somewhere possibly in with the ending, or during the star cast, Jack's dream is now a part of history, like all fine men, who go before us. They could also have taken a piece from Holst's "The Planets" there is some riveting music, on that compilation. He should have specified that the Debussy tune stays.

i used to watch the show with Jack for many years he inspired me in astronomy i wish they would have kept Jack's intro or at least have some tribute to Jack on there since he created the show keep looking up

Removing Jack's intro from the show is so very wrong. It was his dream after all.
