Live performance of Fake Records of Rock and Roll (Is and Always Was album) was recorded on the final day of Daniel Johnston's Australian visit at Alberts Studio, Sydney in November 2009. The set-up was kept intimate and simple, Daniel on vocals accompanied by his old mate Brett Hartenbach on guitar and Ohad Rein (Old Man River) the chosen touring band of his Australian tour. The live performance was in front of a handful of Daniel Johnstons Australian fans.
