I attended this year's festival and must say compared to the past couple of years, was a big let down. Crowd was way down, and it seemed like the city didn't put much effort (or money) into it. The biggest disappointment: the Taste of Avalon. Last year, they had 20-23 participating restaurants. This year ...15, and only seven actually did food (the rest did a drink or a dessert). The sand sculpture in the town square was boring, not much to do in town. I won't be back.
