@brujaria So if I described Joe di Maggio as "a legendary baseball player", you would take that to mean there are legends he was a baseball player? As opposed to "he was a baseball player of great renown"? Anyway, I'm not having a go at you, I just think its interesting to describe them by what they were not as opposed to what they were, and it's important to be clear they were serial killers as opposed to grave robbers.

They weren't "legendary grave robbers". Burke and Hare were never proven to have robbed a single grave - they were murderers.
