This sound is based upon the Zoom's pitch shifter shifting two octaves up and then I added some effects like delay to spice the sound up some more. The drone you're hearing on the right side is my Boss SYB-3, I figured it would be appropriate to accompany this sound with it. This really goes to show the sonic potential of this 'cheap' Zoom pedal (I paid 70$ for mine). This is a very quiet vid so you may want to crank the volume!!!!!!!
There's more to me than just bass solos. Check out my MySpace page at:

  • I love this. one question; does it generate any kind of noise, hiss sounds or humming? because some pedals do, even the Boss pedals.

  • @abouzeid91 For all the purposes that I've used this pedal, it has been nothing but noise-free (i'm sure it generates SOME noise, i just haven't heard much of it!). Before getting this pedal, I used a Boss compressor and THAT was pretty noisy- plus it took away a lot of my low end.

  • Very cool, but i havent found an answer to this yet on any vids or info of this pedal, Does it have compression? (Is that what COMP/LIMIT) is?

  • @edgarpoefan Yep that's a compressor/limiter. It isn't the greatest, but it still is pretty useful.

  • One of the greatests and most inventive bass sounds I come across in a very long time. Superb sir!

  • @SoundWavesSurfer thanks! I really appreciate the compliment!!

  • Love it and the playing is spot on man, me whats it lol

  • @frostbyteSB So practically speaking would it be wisest to get this if compression is my NEED but i do want other effects, or should i get a straight forward compression pedal if thats whats most important to me right now and get my "weird" effects later on?

  • @spliffffstar exactly!

  • damnnn gotta get dis !
