@CamarilloBB There was a story about this on T.V. in the 70s. I remember a guy named Charley in Redwood City, Ca. that had a 32 2 dr. sedan with a stock V-12 Lincoln, fender-less and track roadster grill shell. Very interesting because a flat-
head V-8 could usually beat them. It's all good though. What nostalga!

@pdxracefan Never, never made a 16 cyl. Lincoln. I was the club historian for the Northern Cal. Classic Car Club of America for 10 years. Ed Leal, sorry all 12s.
-
I meant 12. Sorry.

Dude, flathead Lincolns of the day were 16 cylinders.
-
You'll notice this hot rod Lincoln has twelve cylinders. Most of the other versions have only eight.
At Big Daddy Don Garlits' museum South of Ocala FL is a flat head twelve cylinder in a model T roadster. Wow! What a ride!

rude mood?
Of course the story is at least embelished. But the car was real. Charley Ryan actually had a model A coupe with a 12 cylinder motor.
