MPP Executive Director Rob Kampia debates the benefits of marijuana over Marinol, the FDA drug approval process, and how an end to marijuana prohibition could help America on CNN's Anderson Cooper 360. Arguing for the Prohibitionist position is David Evans of the Drug Free America Foundation. This is part of a week-long program on the debate over the future of marijuana policy. 06/16/2009

  • 4-20 SMOKE BUD EVERY DAY I WILL NEVER STOP THE LAW WONT STOP ME SMOKE EVERY DAYYYYY

  • Marijuana will be used whether the FDA says its "legal or not". America is the land of the free, "In GOD we Trust". And MJ is grown from GOD. We, the Americans who medicate, choose to decide whether it is legal or not, not some peice of paper from the FDA. We, the people of the United States of America, take a stand against the formal Government, and tell you what we as a society are going to do, with you or with out you. God bless.

  • Leave it to the FDA? Oh, I know now, a government agency to keep me safe right?

The Government should be ashamed of itself, and so should we for letting them molest our rights.

  • The FDA hires from people from Monsanto (Roundup weed killer and roundup ready genetically modified patented seeds, Nutra-sweet also known as aspartame, Posilac hormone touted as increasing milk production, the list goes on) Monsanto hires people from the FDA.

  • I love how Rob looks stoned 24/7. he was about to go to NASA as an astronaut or engineer. he's rediculously smart... then he got busted for the ganja, so he started the MPP

  • people that r against legalization or reclassification r usually motivated by $pecial interest$ or ignorance as a result of false education, the propaganda commercials & such, on the other hand, people who r for the legalization r usually motivated by logic, science & compassion 4 suffering loved ones

  • marijuana has killed ZERO people in the last 2000 years

On the other hand, alcohol and tobacco kill people every day. The FACTS are there and this stupidity has been fueled for far too long
