Sitting in the dark with a black and white TV, a cold 16 ounce of RC Cola in a glass bottle and my Dad's home made pizza. That was friday night fun. I wish I could get a list of titles to all the moveis he had. D'em wiz tee yeers's.

I actually feel sorry for people who did not grow up in Cleveland in the sixties and who are not familiar with Ghoulardi. They don't know what they missed! Ghoulardi was an absolute phenomenon in Cleveland. The few original tapes that remain of his show are just a tiny sample of the antics he performed. So much more is lost forever.

It was almost 50 years ago when my cousin Phillip and I were watching Shock Theater featuring Ghoulardi and the movie that night was "The Hypnotic Eye." This morning, March 23, 2013, Turner Classic Movie Channel played "The Hypnotic Eye" and it brought back funny memories of those days growing up in Cleveland. It marked the second time I saw it and laughed at the same stupid plop. Ghoulardi Lives!
