The number one problem and an obstacle in learning to swim or progressing forward in swimming skills is the tension in swimmer's body. Learning to relax and trust the buoyancy of swimmer's body in the water is a skill to master in order to swim well in the future.

  • my problem is i keep on thinking im going to sink or im gonna just fall and i just cant do it :(( help me ive got swimming tomorrow

  • @jessiejlover2221 - this is actually very common problem. The solution to this is to keep trying your floating exercises or/and getting yourself submerged underwater despite the horrible feelingof falling. If you reason it rationally, there is no way you can fall if you take a breath as the water will support you while your aired filled lungs act as a baloon floating on top of the water, so you will not sink. If you feel you are going to fall on your head forward, just keep fighting the feeling.
