I'm scottish and frankly i'm astounded at the atmosphere here. Good on you. If they werent 3000 miles away I'd be along to every game. New England Patriots are my local team I might have to give them a go on the back of this but I dont expect the same. You're lucky in Portland, keep it up.

@deeks91 I'd rather gargle a cup of razor blades than go to that shit hole. SHYTE FART LANE!

@grimson I have to agree with you pal, even though bare in mind i'm only 17 but tbh, ever since my team Cardiff City moved from Ninian Park to a plastic all-seater bowl, all the passion, the atmosphere, it's all just gone. Football will never same as it was back in 80's, too many greedy, overpaid wankers that will only play for money, billionaires that does not have a clue about football/soccer takes over a club and splash the cash(Manchester City, Real Madrid etc?) AGAINST MODERN FOOTBALL!

@grimson yeah, English football used to be the peek of what football could be, terrific atmosphere, terrific players and brilliant to watch. But since then it has sought of died down, and is now just a shadow of what it used to be.
I am Australian and I truely believe that football in Australia and America are much better to watch these days than in Europe.
The reason being, the atmosphere at games in Australia and USA is electric and is only getting better. And it is the same on the field!

@grimson tell me, have you ever been to a game in England or are you a delusional fan who thinks they know more than everybody else? you want to get to White Hart Lane under the floodlights, the YID ARMY are a vocal force home or away nobody can match, Come On You Spurs!

It's funny English people having a pop. The atmosphere in England has died since terracing went. Check some River Plate, Boca Jrs, or Gremio videos and tell me there's anything like that in England. You have to accept the atmosphere in England isn't what it once was (unless you're under 25 and dont remember the 80s).
