From May - Sept 06 a 40 meter observation wheel has been built on Plymouth Hoe. There are fantastic views across Plymouth Sound and Drake's Island and beyond to the Breakwater. Also take in the views cross the City, Dartmoor, Mount Edgecombe, out towards the Naval Dockayrd with Cornwall beyond get a birds eye view of the historic Plymouth Hoe overlooking Smeaton's Tower (lighthouse).

The wheel is an ideal view point for the National Power Boat Championships in Plymouth Sound and The National Fireworks Competition when a world record attempt at the number of rockets fired in one go will be made. Both events are in early August 06.

Far better views than the London Eye a trip on the wheel is only £3. Well worth a ride on a visit to Plymouth.
