  • please kids, dont dope , go natural

  • Simpson certainly wasnt unique in using amphet at the time, we take for granted all the sports drinks and carbo loading stuff and knowledge of the body system to enable us to beat fatigue, the tour at the time didnt allow extra water so hydration was a huge issue, he took this crap to get through rather then as a way to get ahead, DONT DOPE! WE HAVE NO EXCUSES TODAY! ENJOY YOUR CYCLING!

  • @szkodnik1990 he did n t die by drugs , you must know everything about it ,i followed that tour , Tom became sick few days for the inportant stage , drinking bad water , in that time it was not allowed to get drink by the car , they only get 4 bottles and all of the riders stopped by bars , his mate bring him water off a stream .In stead of abandon he must go on by his manager , He had taken some pills like all the others .But he drove himself to death

  • To be honest, as cyclist, this is the perfect way to die... on one of the great historical climbs in the tour de france. The heroical nature of the sport, the setting, the atmosphere of the tour de france combined with the amazing climb of the mont ventoux, a perfect ending. Still, rip.

  • @valcur1992 Welp, firstly he did not die from drugs, it was from dehydration. Also, cycling today is even more drug infested. I would guess that maybe one or two TDF winners over the last 100 years did not do any performance enhancing drugs.

  • RIP <3

  • @daithiobroin Still used by soldiers today in one form to keep them going

  • Rip my friend.

  • Sportsman didn't know the consequances of doping at the time. Lets remember that in those days cyclists were only allowed 2 bottles of water per stage. So was a different era compared to todays cycling. Suggest you watch the documentary on him before calling him a cheat

  • What music is this???

This footage sickens and scares me. It's the epitome of horror, to watch a man die in such a way.

  • *1930's

  • Sorry dude but amphetamines are a 1940's invention - widely used in World War 2, and by the 60's available in many different flavours.
