NASA's International Space Station Program Manager, Mike Suffredini, provides the latest mission information following last week's loss of an unpiloted Progress supply ship in a briefing held at the Johnson Space Center in Houston on August 29.
@dhansel001 oh no u didnt! we have drop that billions for one thing at least, to show us we dnt know very much about how the 'laws of physics" and such really work lol if anything we can justify it with that ;)
The space stations cost billions. If it were a private corporation it would have been shut down long ago. Don't get me wrong I love that we have made it this far with space exploration. Let's face it, it is a money pit. They say they are doing experiments there but what is the return on investment. They haven't cured cancer, diabetics, Alzheimer or anything else. They just eat M&M's and do who knows what.
We have lost our shuttle ride, now it is a billion dollar boat anchor. SAD.. Really SAD.
why are we spending billions of dollars killing people when we could spend that same money to increase our space presence?
