Be sure to delete where I added spaces, as YouTube wouldn't let me post a URL in the comments section. You can also find Part 1 on my channel.

  • Hi.

    Thanks for this helpful series.

I love your videos but I couldn’t find: Using Mobipocket to Format Your Book For Kindle--PART 1

    Thanks anyway

  • @licarire If you paste in the title "Using Mobipocket to Format Your Book For Kindle--PART 1" it will come up. Or you can find it in my videos. YouTube won't allow me to post the link in a comment.

  • g2tex,

I recently noticed that the same happens to my documents. I don't know why it does that, nor do I know how to fix it. It didn't bother me, so I haven't looked into how to see that it doesn't happen. I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you.

  • Michael,

Yeah... you still have to clean up your file first. If you don't, Mobipocket will make a messy file for you.

  • Hi Jill, Thanks for this how to for Mobipocket. I inserted a jpeg photo in my html. I imported the html file into mobipocket and then did the add file for the photo as you described. when I review the .prc file in Kindle previewer the photo shows in the correct size and where I inserted it. However, the full sized photo also shows at the end of the document.

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

  • Thanks, Jill. Very helpful. You mentioned that the files are stored in a "strange" place. To overcome this problem. you can designate a different folder in the "Create Publication File in Folder" window before starting the process.

  • @jwilliamsonwrites Ok, thanks again.
